Be Polite, Please! The courtesy of uninterrupted writing is the reason that we gather here - PLEASE enter the room "quietly" and watch, before typing "hello's."This is IMPROV,and can at times move slowly- please allow for this.

Respect the Host. Please follow their simple directions to keep the room running smoothly. If you should enter a room before a host is present, we would appreciate it if you would leave and return after the host has arrived,so that the Host can have the "Bolt" that indicates room "ownership" - The Bolt is an important Hosting tool

IMPROVISATION ONLY PLEASE ! We request that you do not post pre written poetry here.There are many fine posting rooms for this purpose.If you would like links to them please make a request via email.

No Harsh CRITIQUES Please! Improv is tough! Writing spontaneously already shows a writer's talent! Please refrain from Negative or "authoritative" critiques.If a poet requests feedback, they may do so and accept it either privately or in the room -but it must be solicited. . We encourage our "taggers" to experiment poetically without fear of ridicule. If you seek a forum to rip apart the work of others, this is definitely not the place!There are many rooms available for critique purposes.

Give everyone a chance! During Free Tags, try to "tag " a writer you have not seen write during the session! During Listed Tags please tag from the posted list .

Invite your friends, to join in-but please be sure they understand and accept our simple, basic guidelines. Direct them to the web site for guidance.We have zero tolerance for interruptions & after a first warning,disrupters will be ejected.

Refrain from Extreme Obscene Language-We appreciate your ability to write effectively without the use of extreme obscenity or graphic, vulgar diatribes intended solely for shock purposes.
